Navi/Prophets: The Book of Ruth KBR's Navi class is working with the book of Ruth, which is read on Shavuot. No Hebrew skills are required. Feel free to drop in -- everyone is welcome! Taught by Rabbi Scher, Mondays, 7pm. At KBR.

This week we have a number of mitzvot/commandments in the sedra. ויגש תשע"ב "Yosef brought his father Yaakov and placed him in front of Paraoh; and Yaakov blessed Paraoh." Radak comments here, "I don't find a reason why this narrative was written."
